One thing you can do right now is deactivate your Facebook. Seems trite, of course, and it's a hard trigger to pull. This combined with Undistracted completely removes Youtube as a vice.ĭelete all social media. Unsubscribe from most Youtubers: Take the time to unsubscribe to most Youtubers you follow. This removes the habit loop of opening up a new tab and procrastinating. This is probably the best one - it adds in a short pause (10 seconds) to selected sites (reddit, youtube, netflix). I now can only search and see my subscriptions, and I bounce between hiding the comment section and unhiding it. Smartphone setup: The best thing for this is using a fairly long passcode. Just a short, no-BS post about what tools/tips/Chrome extensions I use, to the point where I'm completely happy with my tech usage. ![]()
